| The text you typed in your phone, the pictures you sent to your friend, the video you uploaded online, the mails you receive every day, the news you read every day, the blogs you write every day, the store which tracks your purchases, the credit card company which tracks your spending habits, what you make every month, what you spend, how you spend, where you spend, how much you spend, what you like, what you don’t like… all are data in some form managed and kept by some organization. We are creating about 2.5 exabytes of data in a day. We will have an aggregated 2.72 zettabytes (ZB) of data in 2012. With that amount of data, there is an unprecedented need to analyze this data which is coming from different data formats, different types of data, different source data, different intervals / speed / velocity etc. Every organization has to start the big data analytic in one way or the other to better understand DNA of their business as well as their competitor’s business.
